- The Edge Pinot Gris 2018 Escarpment (White)
The 2018 Edge Pinot Gris from Escarpment is 100% Martinborough Pinot Gris, grown on the alluvial gravel terraces for which the district has become famous. The style is off dry (5.6g/l residual sugar) with a soft ripe backbone and long lingering finish. Currently the wine shows the pear and white stone fruit flavours this variety is renowned for. This wine will make a great aperitif or combine beautifully with light fish or pasta.
- Lady 2018, Lemberg (White)
The Lady of Lemberg symbolizes the expressive characters captured by different varieties – the fragrance and richness of Viognier, the finesse of the Hungarian grape Hárslevelü, the touch of freshness Lemberg’s old Sauvignon blanc vines adds, and evidently, the enticing texture that Sémillon offers. Dried peach, white pear, almond, stone-fruit and floral notes drive the bouquet that follows through on the full-bodied, dense palate that shows great complexity.
